The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB
At 04:30:02 UT on 18 Jul 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230718A (trigger 711347407.352732 / 230718188).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 146.0, Dec = 23.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 09h 43m, 23d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 33.5 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 79.0 degrees.

The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
"At 04:30:02.35 UT on 18 July 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM)
triggered and located GRB 230718A (trigger 711347407/230718188).
This trigger was initially classified as a SHORT GRB (GCN 34225) but is in fact a LONG GRB.
The updated on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data,
is RA = 185.6, Dec = 39.9 degrees, equivalent 12h 22m, +39d 54' (J2000),
with a statistical uncertainty of 15 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 43 degrees.
