The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 05:40:08 UT on 10 Mar 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240310A (trigger 731742013.593492 / 240310236).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 312.5, Dec = -4.9 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 20h 49m, -4d 54'), with a statistical uncertainty of 10.5 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 87.0 degrees.

MASTER-Amur robotic telescope (Global MASTER-Net: http://observ.pereplet.ru, Lipunov et al., 2010, Advances in Astronomy, vol. 2010, 30L) located in Russia (Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University) started inspect of the Fermi GRB 240310A ( Fermi GBM team, GCN 35908) errorbox 52875 sec after notice time and 52908 sec after trigger time at 2024-03-10 20:21:56 UT, with upper limit up to 17.3 mag. Observations started at twilight. The observations began at zenith distance = 69 deg. The sun altitude is -15.5 deg.
The galactic latitude b = -29 deg., longitude l = 43 deg.

During inspection inside 3-sigma error-box (see map in GCN35910)
MASTER auto-detection system found new OT, not presented in MASTER database since 2003, in VIZIER, in CRTS database
MASTER OT J200702.72-263928.7 / AT2024efb discovery
OT source at (RA, Dec) = 20h 07m 02.72s -26d 39m 28.7s on 2024-03-12.06429 UT.
The OT unfiltered magnitude is 16.8m at 3 images (mlim=18.7).
There is no minor planet at this place (we excluded 1999CO47 with m_V=20.8m in 14.4"W,0.6"N ).
We used reference image on 2018-10-07.86227 UT with unfiltered mlim=19.9m between thousands archive images.
Spectral observations are required.
the association of this object with the gamma ray burst is not obvious
