The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 10:38:58 UT on 11 Jun 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240611A (trigger 739795143.972738 / 240611444).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 267.9, Dec = 75.9 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 17h 51m, 75d 54'), with a statistical uncertainty of 8.3 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 48.0 degrees.

MASTER-Amur robotic telescope (Global MASTER-Net: http://observ.pereplet.ru, Lipunov et al., 2010, Advances in Astronomy, vol. 2010, 30L) located in Russia (Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University) started inspect of the Fermi GRB 240611A ( Fermi GBM team, GCN 36658) errorbox 9612 sec after notice time and 9643 sec after trigger time at 2024-06-11 13:19:42 UT, with upper limit up to 13.2 mag. Observations started at twilight. The observations began at zenith distance = 29 deg. The sun altitude is -11.4 deg.
The galactic latitude b = 30 deg., longitude l = 107 deg.
