The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 03:21:41 UT on 13 Sep 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240913A (trigger 747890506.70684 / 240913140).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 68.7, Dec = 13.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 04h 34m, 13d 48'), with a statistical uncertainty of 6.0 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 88.0 degrees.

MASTER-SAAO robotic telescope (Global MASTER-Net: http://observ.pereplet.ru, Lipunov et al., 2010, Advances in Astronomy, vol. 2010, 30L) located in South Africa (South African Astronomical Observatory) started inspect of the Fermi GRB 240913A ( Fermi GBM team, GCN 37481) errorbox 587 sec after notice time and 593 sec after trigger time at 2024-09-13 03:31:35 UT, with upper limit up to 19.0 mag. Observations started at twilight. The observations began at zenith distance = 46 deg. The sun altitude is -15.3 deg.
The galactic latitude b = -21 deg., longitude l = 183 deg.
Real time updated cover map and OT discovered available here:
