The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 14:45:37 UT on 23 Jul 2025, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 250723B (trigger 774974742.499166 / 250723615).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 358.0, Dec = 50.6 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 23h 52m, 50d 36'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.1 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 114.0 degrees.
