MASTER-OAFA robotic telescope [1] located in Argentina (OAFA observatory of San Juan National University) started inspect of the Fermi GRB 260514A ( Fermi GBM team, GCN 44604) errorbox 19843 sec after notice time and 19904 sec after trigger time at 2026-05-14 10:28:25 UT, with upper limit up to 17.1 mag. Observations started at twilight. The observations began at zenith distance = 71 deg. The sun altitude is -10.0 deg.

The galactic latitude b = 15 deg., longitude l = 334 deg.

The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 04:56:40 UT on 14 May 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 260514A (trigger 800427405.55421 / 260514206).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 231.1, Dec = -37.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 15h 24m, -37d 42'), with a statistical uncertainty of 10.9 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 97.0 degrees.
