The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB
At 04:50:40 UT on 27 Jan 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240127A (trigger 728023845.52457 / 240127202).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 299.9, Dec = -62.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 19h 59m, -62d 47'), with a statistical uncertainty of 29.9 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 129.0 degrees.
