The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB

"At 15:31:12.36 UT on 24 October 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM)
triggered and located GRB 241024B (trigger 751476677/241024647).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data,
is RA = 162.80, Dec = -1.98 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 10h 51m, -1d 58'),
with a statistical uncertainty of 14.81 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 78 degrees.
