J. An (NAOC), K. Noysena, K. Chanchaiworawit, S. Tinyanont (NARIT), S.Y. Fu, L. Lei (HUST), L.B. He, S.Q. Jiang, X. Liu, D. Xu, Z.P. Zhu (NAOC) report:

We observed the optical afterglow (Zheng et al., GCN 45825; Saccardi et al., GCN 45829; Mohan et al., GCN 45832; Saccardi et al., GCN 45837; Shi et al., GCN 45838) of GRB 261007A detected by SVOM/ECLAIRs (Goto et al., GCN 45824), Fermi/GBM (Malacaria et al., GCN 45830), and EP/WXT (Wen et al., GCN 45828), using the 0.7-m telescope of the Thai Robotic Telescope network (TRT). Observations started at 2026-10-07 06:00:52 UT, i.e., 18.82 min post-burst, and a series of R-band frames were obtained.

The optical afterglow is well detected in our images with a brightness of R = 17.15 +/- 0.05 at a median time of 23.3 min post-trigger, calibrated with Pan-STARRS DR2 stars in the field and not corrected for Galactic extinction.

Follow-up observations are ongoing.
