K. Yamaoka, M. Ohno, Y. Fukazawa, T. Takahashi, M. Tashiro, Y. Terada,
T. Murakami, and K. Makishima on behalf of the Suzaku-WAM team,

A. von Kienlin, G. Lichti, and A. Rau, and K. Hurley on behalf of the
INTEGRAL SPI-ACS GRB team, report:

Suzaku-WAM, INTEGRAL-SPI-ACS, and Konus-Wind observed the short-duration
hard spectrum GRB 081216 at about 12:44:00 UT (corresponds to the
Fermi/GBM trigger 251124240). The burst light curve shows a single pulse
with a duration of ~0.2 sec.

We have triangulated it to the following, 3-sigma
error box:
-----------------------------------------------
      RA(2000), deg Dec(2000), deg
-----------------------------------------------
Center:
  130.205 (08h 40m 49s) +11.816 (+11d 48' 57")
Corners:
  129.100 (08h 36m 24s) + 8.470 (+08d 28' 11")
  129.552 (08h 38m 12s) + 8.548 (+08d 32' 53")
  131.144 (08h 44m 35s) +15.131 (+15d 07' 52")
  130.699 (08h 42m 48s) +15.056 (+15d 03' 20")
-----------------------------------------------

The error box area is 2.762 sq. deg.

Analysis of the Konus-Wind data yields
a burst fluence of ~5x10^-6 erg/cm2 (in the 20 keV - 7 MeV range),
and an Epeak of the time-integrated spectrum of ~1.5 MeV.
Since the incident angle on the K-W detector was >90 deg,
a detailed reliable spectral analysis of the K-W data can not be performed.

The results of spectral analysis of the Suzaku-WAM data will be reported
later.
