Yan-Long Hua, Jin-Jun Geng, Tian-Rui Sun, Bin-Yang Liu, Ye Li, Yi-Fang Liang, Ding-Fang Hu, Yuan-Tai Yang, Ji-An Jiang, and Xue-Feng Wu report on behalf of the WFST team:

Following the detection of GRB261029A by Fermi GBM (Fermi GBM Team
, GCN 46071) and SVOM/ECLAIRs (Goto et al., GCN 46072), we performed follow-up observations using the Wide Field Survey Telescope (WFST Collaboration; arXiv:2306.07590) at the Lenghu Astronomical Observation Base in Qinghai Province, China. Observations in the g/i/r bands began at 2026-10-29T12:26:03, approximately 10.98 hours after the trigger.

We clearly detect the optical counterpart (O'Neill et al. GCN 46073; He et al. GCN 46078; Wang et al. GCN 46079; Cotter et al. GCN 46081; Álvarez et al., GCN 46083; Yin et al., GCN 46084; Shi et al., GCN 46088; Kang et al., GCN 46090; Ma et al., GCN 46092.; De et al., GCN 46093) in the images. The g-band photometry result is presented in the following :

MJD | exposure time (s) | band | mag (AB)
-------------|-------------------|------|---------------
    61342.56469907407 | 120 | g | 20.73+/-0.02

We thank the WFST staff for supporting these observations.
